For the past ten years, New Avenues for Youth's signature fundraising event - Comedy Showcase - has brought nationally acclaimed comic talent to Portland, providing a unique and entertaining evening and an important source of support for our programs for homeless and at-risk youth.
Previous events have featured legendary comedians Steve Allen, Rich Little, Jay Leno, Garrison Keillor, John Oliver of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, NBC’s Last Comic Standing winners, and Lily Tomlin. Since the event’s inception, we have entertained thousands and raised significant funds for New Avenues’ critical mission. Join us as we celebrate a decade of doing good with a memorable night of food, wine and comedy featuring the legendary Bob Newhart!
